    The Warehouse Driver will work with under the guidance of the Tools and Fleet Supervisor and Warehouse Manager supporting the success of all IME projects regarding tools and fleet fulfillment. The Warehouse Driver will assist the Tools and Fleet Supervisor with pulling, staging, inspecting and delivery of day to day tool and consumable orders, facilities maintenance, inventory records, maintaining and updating delivery schedule, ensuring customer satisfaction, and the highest level of safety pertaining to all requirements of this position. This position requires short term pre-planning and close communication with IME field, project management, and administrative staff.


    • Tool and Consumable orders
      • Pull, inspect, stage, and deliver orders to IME jobsites
    • Facilities Maintenance
      • Restocking Community snacks and beverages
      • Maintain working condition of office furniture, office lighting, office appliances, etc.
      • Trash removal and recycling in common areas
      • Perform minor repairs at the direction of the Tools and Fleet supervisor
    • Assists with warehouse flow and inventory management
      • Assists in maintaining organization, inventory and flow of operations within IME Warehouse and Tool Crib
      • Assists in communicating and maintaining minimum inventory levels for consumables, MISC tools, and dept. supplies
    • Visual Task and Delivery Schedule
      • Consults visual schedule for available tasks in between tool and consumable orders and deliveries
      • Coordinates internally with T&F Supervisor, Fabrication Supervisor, and internal requestors in updating, prioritizing, and communicating delivery schedules.
    • Driver/delivery requests
      • Performs deliveries to IME projects or local vendors
        • Collects legible transfer documentation and returns to Tools and Fleet Supervisor after each run
        • Inspects and function tests all items going in or out of the warehouse
    • Runs errands, picks up packages from Will Call, delivers IME vehicles to vendors for maintenance

    • Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance


    • Possess an understanding and knowledge of Industry tools and Fleet, consumable supplies, proper maintenance and inspection.
    • Forklift certification preferred
    • Clean Driving record (3 yr. period) and excellent knowledge of motor vehicle laws and requirements
    • Must have experience in pulling trailers or be able to comfortably drive a stake bed truck up to 24’
    • Possess an understanding of Lean process flow and problem-solving techniques
    • Candidate will be motivated; detail oriented, and will possess strong interpersonal skills to work in a diverse, dynamic, and fast paced environment.
    • Candidate must be self-motivated and flexible to accommodate changes in IME’s business strategies.
    • Must communicate information and state problems of challenges to be resolved in a clear, concise, courteous, nondiscriminatory and professional manner, and be able to provide clarification as necessary.


    Working conditions:

    • Job requires a combination of working on your feet, sitting, and driving, 8 to 10 hours daily up to 6 days a week.
    • Candidate will be expected to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull and reach overhead.
    • May be required to work from all types of ladders, stepladders up to 14', "A" frame ladders and all size extension ladders.
    • Wear personal protective equipment (hard hats, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, masks, earplugs and respirators).
    • Follow special procedures including contamination control, noise control, building systems awareness and procedures.
    • Candidate must be able to work night shifts and mid shifts, as required by customers.
    • Respond to short notice requirements.
