The CW1 Driver is responsible for locating proper materials for delivery, ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined locations on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service.




  • Prepares orders by pulling from stock for the purpose of meeting delivery requirements
  • Reviews orders prior to delivery
  • Drives truck for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated locations
  • Maintains records (e.g. delivery log, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and providing reliable resource information
  • Participates in physical inventories for the purpose of verifying stock
  • Transports various items (i.e. records, documents) for the purpose of receiving and/or delivering materials on both scheduled and unscheduled pickup and delivery routes

  • Utilizes communication and organizational skills in order to provide exceptional customer service



  • Must be comfortable driving a 24' stake bed truck or large trailer
  • MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) must meet company driving requirements.
  • Experience with construction, oil & gas or electrical distributors a plus.
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screen.
  • Valid in-state driver's license
  • Will be required to undergo standard DOT physical
  • Will be required to obtain DOT card upon successful completion of physical
  • Possess basic understanding of the electrical industry.
  • Candidate must have a proactive approach to problem solving.
  • H.S. Diploma/GED Required.
  • Ability to interact with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time and work in remote areas.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
  • Positive attitude and part of the team approach to “get the job done”.
  • Strict adherence regarding company safety program

Working Conditions:

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; significant climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity.

A portion of the time you will work in a typical warehouse environment, the remainder of the time you may be driving and visiting various construction sites. You may encounter conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching and shoring, sometimes in a confined space.  You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.
